About Me

I'm passionate about using tech to build community and find creative new tools to meet the needs of marginalized groups.

Prior to starting koeco, I worked with behavioral healthcare, nonprofit and social change organizations. These experiences working with diverse groups of people, across ages, abilities, and other social identity groups taught me to evaluate challenges from multiple perspectives to determine a viable solution. My preferred style of working on a technical project blends compassion, collaboration, and client-driven solutions with code. I can't wait to work with you!

rootUP

Built with: HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, React, Express. A react application to support black women, QTBIPOC and other BIPOC farmers through connection to safer identity-affirming learning resources. Original design, concept and code by me. Code is available for viewing on request via Github.

Travel Site

Nitro Coffee

Built with: HTML, CSS, Sass. A multi-page coffeeshop website built with HTML and CSS using a company styleguide containing brain colors and UI design mockups. Designs attributed to BrainStation. Originally coded by me.

Client: Clean 4 You NYC

Built in Wix. A multipage cleaning company website with FAQ section built using company colors and icons/logos for inspiration. I worked closely with the client to meet the desired design aesthetic of a whimsical pet-friendly and family-owned cleaning company.

Jewel's Gems

Built with HTML and CSS. A landing page for a jewelry store. This was one of the first pages I'd ever built in code. Designs attributed to CodeLabs Academy with some modification by me. Originally coded by me following their tutorial.
